MCST Theatre Admission Process: In addition to the general requirements for admission, candidates will participate in a group task preparing and presenting a short scene, and group interviews. Applicants must also prepare a monologue (not to exceed 90 seconds) from a published play written after 1960, memorized, and age appropriate. Age appropriate means it is a role that is within your current age range. Note that these are just additional opportunities to show strengths/interests in other areas of the performing arts. There is no penalty for not doing supplemental options. The only requirement is for all candidates to perform a monologue. Important Helpful Hints
